Introducing Comics Instructor: Marissa Perez

It is with much excitement that we welcome Marissa Perez to join the Portfolio Program as the Comics Core Faculty. Marissa has been an IPRC Teaching Artists since 2021, teaching comics, screenprinting, youth camp, and more recently facilitating a monthly drawing night. We’re so excited for the spirit of play that Marissa brings, and a teaching ethos that centers student voices, care, and skill-sharing as a tool for empowerment and connection.
