Berlin Family Letterpress Studio

The Berlin Family Letterpress Studio is a wonderful place to learn the historic craft of printing with movable type. IPRC Studio Members who've completed the Intro to Letterpress workshop can set type and print by appointment.

Info + Access

  • Membership is not required to visit the center. Visit our membership page to learn more about options and rates.

  • Prior training is required to access the printmaking studios. Members with experience may request an orientation by filling out a questionnaire. Reach out to jakelen@iprc.org to request a form.

  • Masks are required when visiting the center. High quality masks such as N95s or KN95s are preferred over cloth or surgical masks. We ask that you refrain from visiting the center if you have been recently exposed to someone with COVID-19. Do not visit the center if you feel sick at all.
