To make a donation to the IPRC online, click here; it's a secure service through Network for Good. If you'd like to donate via check you can send it to the address at the top and bottom of this page or just stop by the center during open hours. If you'd like to make a donation in a non-monetary fashion, check out our current wish list at the right of this page. For more information about donating, read on:

Word is spreading about the IPRC thanks to the hundreds of folks who have become involved in the space through membership, library useage, workshops, and outreach programs. Whether in schools or at our center, more folks of all ages are learning about the empowering strength of self-publishing. The IPRC is a totally unique place and demand for our services is on the rise. Unfortunately, so is the cost of maintaining and improving all that we have and do.

Most of our services are provided through thousands of volunteer hours from over 50 individuals. We stretch the value of every dollar we spend. Where does the money come from? Mostly you. We receive a very small amount of foundation funding -- more than 80% of our income comes from individual contributions and user fees. More than ever, we need your support so that we can continue to offer our services at affordable rates. In return, you will be directly supporting all that makes the IPRC great:

  • A creative atmosphere
  • Friendly and knowledgeable staff
  • Affordable rates for low and moderate income folks
  • Our belief in preserving traditional printing and duplication techniques
  • Technical education opportunities
  • Amazing volunteers (some who have been here since the beginning)
  • Access to the tools of production for everyone
  • Connections to & knowledge of many resources outside of the IPRC
  • A free small press/zine lending library of magnanimous size (over 5,000 catalogued items now!)
  • Resourcefulness
  • A coffee pot

Now, consider what you can afford to give. Can you offer the IPRC $5, $10, $25, or even $100? Once you have established an amount that you can offer, add 10% more just to make it a little less comfortable! Now all you have to do is send it in and see what great things we bring forth. Your gift to the IPRC has many benefits and will be returned in services over and over.

The IPRC is unlike any art center, book store, print shop, social event, computer lab, school, copy shop, library, or cafe you've ever been to. It combines the best qualities of all those places into a fantastic mix of learning, sharing and creating with reasonably priced workshops, work space & supplies, one of the largest free lending libraries of small press materials in the country, and amazing social and community outreach activities.
